Smals - Business Continuity Manager

Your role As Business Continuity Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing and securing the strategy in the field of business continuity and resilience within a rapidly changing IT environment. You function as a strategic advisor and coordinator throughout the entire spectrum of risks that can disrupt business operations - from technical outages and cyber attacks to pandemics and supplier failure. Your responsibilities: You work closely together with various internal stakeholders, including IT, risk management, compliance, and crisis management teams, to identify, assess and mitigate potential risks. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive business continuity plan that takes into account the organization's goals, objectives, and risk profile. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to departments and teams on business continuity planning and implementation, as well as conduct regular training and awareness sessions to ensure that all employees are aware of their role in ensuring business continuity. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the business continuity plan and making recommendations for improvement.
