Smals - Business Continuity Manager

As Business Continuity Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the strategy on the subject of business continuity and resilience within a rapidly changing IT environment. You function as a strategic advisor and coordinator in the entire spectrum of risks that can disrupt business operations - from technical outages and cyber attacks to pandemics and supplier failure. Your responsibilities: You work closely together with various internal and external stakeholders, including IT, risk management, compliance, and crisis management teams. You analyze and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on business continuity. You also ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed and prepared for potential disruptions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive business continuity plan, which includes identifying critical business processes, assessing potential risks, and developing recovery strategies. You will also be responsible for conducting regular risk assessments and updating the business continuity plan accordingly. Your expertise in this area is essential to ensure that our organization remains operational and continues to deliver its services effectively.
