Site Services Supervisor

The role

This is a great opportunity to join our Waihi team, as the operation continues to expand. The role involves supervision, planning, coordination and completing various operational, landscaping and property maintenance tasks. It is essential that all work his undertaken in a safe manner while ensuring compliance with relevant procedures, polices, legal requirements and consent conditions.

Key responsibiities

• Liaise with Property Manager and contractors to complete property & landscaping.
• Leading internal employees & direct external contractors to achieve projects on time.
• Assist with developing service and supply contracts as per business needs.
• Co- ordinating waste management and disposal services.
• Maintaining fire system services contracts, ensuring inspections are completed as required.
• Undertaking building compliance inspections. Ensuring company building compliance is maintained.
• Providing project management & maintenance of company properties as directed.
• Minimise costs and maximise benefits to the Company by contractors working on company assets when required
• Mowing/spraying/weed-eating/pest control – OceanaGold commercial, residential and domestic properties
• Tree felling, pruning/small tree removal.
• Maintenance of walkways managed by the OceanaGold.
• Attend pre-shift safety and tool-box safety meetings.
• Report all incidents and near misses and workplace hazards.
