Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) – Konstanz, Berlin or remote

Full Time Lead

Job description

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for you – a motivated and passionate Site Reliability Engineer.
Our clients are diverse. Our software projects are too. We bring our clients' grand visions to life and help them drive digitalization in Germany. We rely on our enthusiasm for software engineering, open source, and an agile mindset.

  • You operate and are responsible for our development and infrastructure platform based on Kubernetes, Pulumi / Terraform, and cloud-native technologies with a clear focus on stability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
  • You work closely at the interface between software development and infrastructure, bringing a solid understanding of software architecture and development to platform work.
  • You consistently automate infrastructure processes and actively contribute to reducing manual effort and ensuring long-term operational maintainability.
  • You ensure robust monitoring and alerting so that problems become visible early on.
  • You take an active role in incident management, analyze incidents in a structured manner, sustainably resolve causes, and ensure that lessons learned are directly incorporated into the further development of the platform.
  • You are available as a contact person within our regular working hours, thus ensuring that critical incidents are addressed quickly and reliably.

What you bring

  • A completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the development and operation of cloud-native platforms and infrastructures
  • In-depth know-how in Kubernetes – from conception and setup to productive operation of complex cluster environments
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, particularly Pulumi and/or Terraform
  • Understanding of modern software development principles, ideally with knowledge of Python
  • Sound judgment and a pragmatic approach to complex technical challenges, even in time-critical situations
  • Openness to on-call duty within regular working hours
  • Very good German language skills (min. C1)

What we offer you

  • You are part of a self-organized team in an agile environment with a high degree of personal responsibility.
  • Through the broad spectrum of technologies and the diversity of our projects and clients, you have the opportunity to continuously develop yourself.
  • You are joining a growing company with a long-term perspective.
  • To enable optimal working conditions, we are committed to you and your family.
  • Comprehensive benefits round off our offer.
