About the role: We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our applications, automating operational tasks, and proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact our users. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for our applications. * Automate operational tasks and processes. * Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. * Participate in on-call rotations to respond to and resolve incidents. * Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform. * Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems. * Develop and maintain documentation for our infrastructure and processes. * Participate in incident reviews and postmortems. * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Site Reliability Engineering. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role. * Strong understanding of Linux and networking concepts. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform). * Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana). * Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash). * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bonus points: * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL). * Experience with distributed systems.
