Your Tasks

• You will build the framework with us to build and deploy Cloud Store packages on OPCP, from conception through automation to ongoing operation.

• Kubernetes is your playground: you will further develop our stack and implement GitOps workflows, for example with FluxCD.

• You don't click infrastructure together, you write it. With Ansible and Terraform, you will develop and maintain our Infrastructure as Code.

• Unclear requirements? No drama. You will look at the system, find out what's really going on, and derive from it what needs to be improved.

• New teams want to use OPCP? You will handle onboarding and help them become productive quickly with the framework.

• You feel comfortable in an environment where security and a high degree of automation go hand in hand.

• On-call is part of it: you will be part of our rotation.

• You have a solid understanding of Linux system administration, including its internals, and you know cloud platforms from practical experience, ideally OpenStack including provisioning and operation of the infrastructure.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible is part of your daily routine, as is scripting and automation with Python, Bash, and Go.

• You have not only used Kubernetes clusters as a managed service but have also set them up and operated them yourself, from installation through upgrades to troubleshooting. Experience with containers and GitOps workflows is a plus.

• You have built and maintained CI/CD pipelines yourself, and you are familiar with modern stacks for metrics, logs, and traces for observability and monitoring, such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• You understand the basics of IT security, such as IAM, Secrets Management, Hardening, and Compliance, and you are familiar with Distributed Systems, including CAP theorem, consensus, and fault tolerance.

• You approach troubleshooting in a structured manner, quickly adapt to new things, and consistently document what you do.

• You bring a DevOps mindset. You enjoy working in a product team, take ownership, live a blameless culture, communicate clearly, and are eager to continuously improve things.
