Description

• Oversee and manage quality assurance processes across the complex manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to optimise production performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Lead internal audits and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Profile

A successful Senior QA Supervisor should have:

• A strong background in quality assurance within the food industry ideally in baking, confectionery or snack foods.
• Relevant qualifications in food science.
• Proven experience in managing quality control processes at a site level.
• Strong knowledge of FSANZ, NSW food regulatory bodies, ACO, AQIS/DAFF, Halal, Kosher, Rainforest Alliance, SQF and RSPO
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality management.
