Site Manager

A leading specialist engineering firm, part of a substantial long-standing industrial group, is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead their onsite installation team for large-scale air handling projects. This role, based in the Parow, Cape Town area, offers an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader to oversee the entire onsite execution, from planning and team coordination to ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all aspects of onsite project execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Lead and manage the onsite installation team, providing guidance, support, and performance management. * Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of milestones. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. * Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control procedures. * Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or risks. * Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and adhere to safety standards. * Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting project status and any challenges encountered. * Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within the HVAC or mechanical engineering sector. * Strong understanding of mechanical installation processes and project management principles. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures. * Relevant qualifications in engineering or construction management.
