Indigeco is currently recruiting a Site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer on behalf of our client – a well-established, reputable commercial construction company with major projects across NSW and VIC. What You'll Be Doing
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and compliance on-site
- Conduct site safety inductions, inspections, and audits
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to maintain safe systems of work
- Maintain site safety documentation (SWMS, incident registers, reports, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement in site safety and environmental performance
- Ensure WHS legislative and environmental compliance is met and exceeded
- Keep the site tidy, safe, and compliant at all times
- Foster a safety-first, solutions-focused culture on-site
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in HSE, Construction, Engineering, or a related trade
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and building safety regs
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Current First Aid certificate
- The ability to work both autonomously and in a team
