Senior Systems Administrator

Ali Spa Ali Professional is seeking, for a chemical manufacturing company client, a Senior Systems Administrator. Key Responsibilities: The resource will be a fundamental resource in the design, installation, maintenance, and evolution of the company's IT system, demonstrating a keen professional initiative. It will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT production and development infrastructure on all three sites. Its main duties will include: - Virtualization Management: Pluriennial experience on virtualization environments, particularly VMware and vSAN, with a focus on High Availability; - Networking and Security: Management and maintenance of Firewalls (particularly Sophos), management and maintenance of Switches, and configuration of VLANs; - Backup and Disaster Recovery: In-depth knowledge of on-premise and Cloud backup systems, particularly Veeam; - Database Administration: Administrative knowledge of database systems, with experience on MariaDB, MSSQL, and Postgres; - Operating Systems: Pluriennial administration of operating systems, with a focus on Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, Almalinux, Ubuntu, Debian). Desired Qualities: - at least 5 years of experience in the same role; - attitude to teamwork and excellent collaborative skills; - keen intuition to Problem Solving and ability to maintain focus under stress. - propensity to continuous learning to stay updated on the latest technologies in the sector. - excellent organizational skills to manage various suppliers and harmonize their activities in an efficient manner. What We Offer: - direct insertion with an indefinite contract and remuneration commensurate with experience. Salary range of €45,000 - €50,000 + variable; - company car for mixed use; - meal vouchers for €7. Place of work: Livorno office, with travel to other plants in Genoa and Southern Piedmont.
