Senior System Administrator

YOUR ROLE:

In view of team expansion, we are looking for a Senior System Administrator for a major company in the telecommunications sector, working in a hybrid mode in Milan.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and creation of server and virtualization infrastructures in enterprise environments.

- Installation, configuration, and hardening of Linux and Windows Server systems.

- Implementation of virtualization clusters with Proxmox VE (knowledge of Oracle Linux Virtual Machine and VMware is a plus, but not mandatory).

- Configuration of SAN/NAS storage, iSCSI networks, multipath, LACP.

- Creation of AD domains, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and core services.

- Integration of monitoring (Zabbix), logging, and patching systems.

- Production of complete technical documentation (runbooks, diagrams, configurations in English).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Virtualization: Proxmox VE primarily, VMware and Oracle Linux Virtual Machine.

- Operating Systems: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL, Oracle Linux), Windows Server.

- Storage: Unity, iSCSI, NFS, multipath, zoning.

- Basic Networking: VLAN, trunk, L3 routing.

- Security: hardening, certificate management, centralized authentication.

WHAT WE OFFER

The gross annual salary for this role ranges between 35,000 EUR and 45,000 EUR. The position is classified under the CCNL of Commerce and Tertiary applied by our company. The positioning within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and predefined criteria. In the presence of profiles with exceptional characteristics compared to the indicated range, a review may be considered with prior internal approval.
