Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee our client's silo depot operations. The Silo Depot Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the silo depot, including supervising staff, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that all processes are running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate the activities of the silo depot team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels. • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and regulations. • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and improvement. • Manage budgets and financial reports, ensuring that the silo depot operates within budget. • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. • Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are complied with. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management). • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or related field. • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and operations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
