Security Officer (m/w/d)

• Guarantee of Security and Protection in a reception center for children and young people, particularly unaccompanied minor refugees (UMF) and young people with a migration background
• Welcome and Orientation Assistance for newly arriving young people, visitors, and staff members
• of the interior and exterior areas to ensure order, fire safety, and building security
• Closing Services and control of security-relevant areas (e.g. escape routes, windows, doors)
• Sensitive Handling of Cultural Diversity, language barriers, and partially traumatized young people
• Introduction of Appropriate Measures in cases like escalation, aggression, vandalism, or break-in
• Desescalation Communication in critical situations – also in collaboration with pedagogical staff members
• Monitoring of Security and Building Technology Systems (e.g. video surveillance, alarm, and fire detection systems)
• Support and Accompaniment of Staff Members and protected individuals in challenging situations
• Documentation of Incidents as well as cooperation with authorities, police, or medical personnel when necessary

Working Hours: Shift Work (Early Morning and Late Evening Shifts), including Weekends and Public Holidays
