Hiring for an experienced shunter to join our client in Calgary, AB
Location: Calgary, AB
Morning/ Afternoon shifts
- Move and position trailers, containers, and trucks within the yard as directed.
- Perform regular yard checks to monitor trailer locations.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff to ensure efficient flow of equipment.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks.
- Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents or delays.
- Must have a valid license and a clean abstract.
- Previous shunting, yard driving, or trucking experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and yard operations.
