We are GORNATION - a sports brand from Münster, founded in 2015 with the mission to strengthen Calisthenics worldwide. Our products are used in over 100 countries - from training equipment to streetwear. Social Media is one of our most important growth drivers. On Instagram, we already reach over 250,000 people - and we want to further expand our presence with stronger Short Form Content.

We are looking for a Short Form Content Creator & Editor, who develops, edits and optimizes Reels, Shorts, TikToks and Ads. Your focus is clearly on short, platform-specific videos that grab attention, showcase our products and athletes strongly and deliver performance.

Your goal: more output, better hooks, stronger Reels and Ads – without sacrificing quality.

Working model: Full-time on-site in Münster, because creative alignment, content production and fast feedback in the team live simply work better.

Tasks

• Short Form Content cutting: You create Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks and Paid Ads with strong hooks, good pacing and clear platform logic.
• Ads & Reels from existing material create: You transform raw material, athlete content, shootings, UGC and product videos into performant short videos for Social Media and Paid Ads.
• Your own Content ideas develop: You bring in your own angles, hooks and concepts and actively think about how we can stage products, athletes and Calisthenics stronger.
• Trends recognize & apply: You monitor Social-Media-Trends, Sounds, cutting styles and formats and transfer suitable ideas to GORNATION.
• Content for different platforms optimize: You adapt videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Ads and possibly homepage snippets.
• Fast feedback loops implement: You work closely with Social Media, Content and Marketing together and set adjustments quickly, cleanly and reliably.
• Content structure & organize: You keep multiple parallel video projects in mind, work with clear priorities and ensure a constant output.
• Simple shoots support: You can shoot small clips yourself, record behind-the-scenes content or produce short scenes for Reels using a smartphone or camera.

Qualification

• Strong Short Form Editing Skills: You know how to cut Reels, Shorts, TikToks and Ads so that they quickly grab attention.
• Safe handling of editing tools: You work safely with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing programs.
• Sense for hooks & pacing: You recognize which first seconds function, when a cut is too slow and how a video can remain suspenseful until the end.
• Understanding of Social Media: You know the dynamics of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts and understand why some videos perform and others do not.
• Creativity & own ideas: You actively bring in new angles, formats and cutting ideas instead of just doing tasks.
• Organization & structure: You can manage multiple clips, versions and deadlines parallelly and work cleanly, reliably and independently.
• Team spirit & motivation: You have the desire to be part of a creative team on-site in Münster, align yourself and produce better content together.
• Solid language skills: You have very good German language skills and English language skills to ensure that hooks, captions or text overlays are implemented securely.
• Basic knowledge of camera & light: You don't need to be a full-fledged videographer, but you have an eye for clean recordings and can produce simple clips yourself.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Paid Ads, UGC Content, Motion Design, After Effects, Canva, Photoshop or Asana.
