Shopware Fullstack Developer (m/w/d)

About us

Aurivian is a Shopware agency from Karlsruhe. We develop, operate, and optimize eCommerce solutions based on Shopware 6 for medium-sized retailers in the DACH region. We are a small team and want to grow further, so we are looking for reinforcement in the development department.

Your role

As a Shopware Fullstack Developer (m/w/d), you will be part of our development team and implement customer projects based on Shopware 6. The focus is on backend development in PHP and Symfony. Storefront adjustments in Twig, SCSS, and JavaScript as well as the integration of external systems are included.

You will work independently on your topics, bring your technical perspective actively into architecture and technology decisions, and develop solutions together with the team and development leadership.

Your tasks

• Development of Shopware plugins and individual extensions
• Implementation of customer-specific requirements with a focus on backend
• Storefront adjustments in Twig, SCSS, and JavaScript
• Integration of external systems and services via REST APIs
• Code reviews and technical documentation
• Technical feedback with project management and customers
• Co-shaping internal Dev processes, CI/CD workflows, and standards

Your profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in object-oriented PHP development
• Fundamental knowledge of Symfony, Twig, MySQL, and Git
• Practical experience with Shopware 6 (own plugins, customizing or certifications)
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with API design and system integration
• Familiarity with modern Dev setups (Docker, GitHub, testing, CI/CD)
• Structured, independent working style
• Good German language skills in writing and speaking (Level B2+)

Bonus points for

• Shopware certifications (Backend Developer, Frontend Developer)
• Experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks
• Experience with other PHP backend frameworks
• Experience in performance optimization and caching in eCommerce
• Experience in headless architectures or with the Shopware Store API
• First contacts with DevOps topics (deployment, monitoring)

What you can expect from us

• €55,000 to €65,000 gross per year for full-time, depending on experience.
