Job description
Introduction
Welcome to Webmatch! We are a specialized e-commerce agency with a clear focus on Shopware. No template shops, no mass production, no token plugins.
We develop individual solutions for demanding clients like Toyota, AIDA, and ADAC, where architecture, performance, and clean extensibility count.
We are looking for support for one of our interdisciplinary Shopware teams as soon as possible – and we are looking for you as a Shopware expert (m/f/d).
Whether full-time or part-time, remote or hybrid, with us you will find the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dedicated team.
Tasks
You will work on complex Shopware 6 projects, from conception to go-live and beyond.
You will develop your own plugins, adapt existing systems, and make technical decisions together with the team.
Depending on your experience, you will take on more responsibility in architectural issues, code reviews, and technical consulting, or focus on clean implementation and further development.
Your role in detail:
- Conception and implementation of complex business logic using Shopware 6 plugins based on Symfony
- Implementation of custom entities using the DAL and creation of services in an event-driven application
- Development of asynchronous processes using Symfony Messenger
- Development of custom CMS blocks for the Shopware administration using Vue.js
- Customization and extension of the storefront using Twig templates and SCSS/Bootstrap
- Technical analysis of existing shops as well as connection and integration of third-party systems (ERP, PIM, CRM)
- Working according to SOLID principles and applying "Clean Code Principles"
- Conducting code reviews
- Collaboration with project management, UX, and other developers
Qualification
Writing clean, modular, and performant code is more than just a task for you – it's your creed. You have a lot of passion for Shopware and are proficient in using Git and Docker.
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Several years of experience with Shopware 6 in real projects
- Excellent PHP skills and solid Symfony understanding
- Experience with plugin development and Shopware architecture
- Clean working method, understanding of maintainability and performance
- Solution-oriented and structured way of working
- Good German language skills
Agency experience is a plus, but not a must.
If you don't meet all requirements but know what we're talking about, it's probably a good fit anyway.
Benefits
With us, you'll enjoy all the advantages that come with working in a mid-size agency: short decision-making paths, high personal responsibility, and lean structures.
Our employees are as diverse as our projects. Everyone will find the right environment here for successful and fulfilling work. Together, we will also find the right setting for you.
You can also expect:
- Various further training and development opportunities, including Shopware certifications and training
- Exciting Shopware projects with technical depth
- A team at eye level, from whom you can also learn something
- Clear communication and realistic project planning
- Benefits such as Deutschlandticket, Jobrad, membership in Urban Sports Club, flexible working hours, employee discounts, and additional vacation days
- High-quality equipment (MacBook Pro) and tools
Why Us?
Interested?
No cover letter marathon.
A brief overview of your Shopware experience is perfectly sufficient.
If available, we would appreciate links to projects, GitHub, or plugins.
It would be helpful if you could share your salary expectations with us at the beginning. If you don't have an idea yet, that's okay. Feel free to keep it brief – we're not looking for a good copywriter, but for a good Shopware developer (m/f/d). You're welcome to use the informal "du".
