Job description

You don't just know Shopify from daily shop maintenance, but also know how to build a shop from scratch and continuously develop it?

Then become part of our e-commerce team at Holz-Richter! As a Shopify E-Commerce Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for the development and continuous improvement of new Shopify shops. You will have a lot of creative freedom and the opportunity to drive your projects independently from idea to implementation.

You will work at the interface between e-commerce, UX, and technology, ensuring that our Shopify shops are convincing from both a customer and a technical perspective.

Tasks

  • As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of our Shopify shops.
  • You will set up new shops as independently as possible and continuously develop existing solutions.
  • You will conceptualize and optimize shop structures, navigation, landing pages, and customer journeys with a focus on good user experience and conversion.
  • You will configure Shopify, themes, and apps and decide which solutions are sensible for the respective shop.
  • You will implement adjustments in the shop independently and coordinate technical requirements if necessary.
  • You will take care of the connection and interaction of Shopify with other systems, interfaces, and middleware solutions.
  • You will identify optimization potentials and implement new features, tests, and improvements independently.
  • You will keep an eye on current Shopify developments, new features, apps, and e-commerce trends and check which of them are relevant for our shops.

Qualifications

  • You have extensive practical experience with Shopify and have ideally already independently built and developed Shopify shops.
  • You understand Shopify not only from a user's perspective but also possess the necessary technical understanding to implement many requirements independently.
  • You are familiar with Shopify themes, apps, and interfaces; knowledge in the area of middleware is an advantage.
  • Ideally, you can also make adjustments to Shopify themes yourself. Knowledge of Liquid, Shopify's own template language, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are a plus.
  • This will allow you to implement small technical and design changes as independently as possible, without being reliant on development resources for every adjustment.
  • You have a good understanding of e-commerce, UX, and conversion optimization, and can connect technical and functional requirements.
  • You work very independently, structured, and solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility for your projects.
  • You are eager to help shape new shops from the beginning, contribute your own ideas, and actively drive decisions.
  • You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.

Benefits

  • 30 days of vacation
  • Vacation and Christmas bonus
  • Capital-forming benefits
  • Company pension plan and occupational disability insurance
  • Job bike
  • EGYM-Wellpass**: Company fitness with employer subsidy
  • FINN car subscription
  • Flexitime account
  • Opportunity for personal and professional development
  • Secure job in a future-oriented company
  • Hybrid model (3 days office + 2 days remote / week)

We look forward to receiving your comprehensive application!
