Post - Shopify Developer Role Overview As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing and maintaining our Shopify stores end-to-end. You will work closely with Product, Design and Marketing to translate Figma designs and business requirements into fast, stable and conversion-focused experiences. Key Responsibilities 1. Theme & Frontend Development Develop, customize and maintain Online Store 2.0 themes for both brands. Convert Figma/UX designs into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS, leveraging Shopify's Liquid templating language. Ensure seamless integration with Shopify's APIs and services. Collaborate with the Design team to implement design concepts and ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints. Develop custom Shopify apps using Shopify's Partner API and GraphQL. 2. Store Configuration & Customization Configure and customize Shopify stores for various brands, including setting up payment gateways, shipping options, taxes, and other store settings. Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards. Collaborate with the Product team to implement new features and functionality in Shopify stores. 3. Performance Optimization Optimize Shopify store performance by minimizing page load times, improving search engine rankings, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify store performance. 4. Quality Assurance Ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices for Shopify development. Conduct thorough testing of custom Shopify apps and themes to ensure they meet brand standards and are free from bugs. Collaborate with the QA team to identify and prioritize defects. 5. Knowledge Sharing Share knowledge and expertise with the team through documentation, training sessions, or mentorship. Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, APIs, and best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality. Key Requirements 1. Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language. 2. Experience with Shopify's Partner API and GraphQL. 3. Knowledge of Shopify's theme development guidelines and best practices. 4. Understanding of Shopify's APIs and services, including REST and GraphQL APIs. 5. Familiarity with Figma/UX design principles and collaboration tools like Slack or Asana. 6.
