Shift Supervisor

Job Title: Shift Supervisor - Mining Industry Location: Northern Cape RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join their mining operation in the Northern Cape. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a designated shift and ensuring that production targets are met safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of mining personnel on a designated shift Monitor production levels and adjust processes as necessary Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Coordinate maintenance and repairs to equipment and facilities Identify and report any potential hazards or issues Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of incidents Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and respect for all employees. Requirements: 5 years' experience in the mining industry preferably as a Shift Supervisor or similar role Proven track record of achieving production targets while maintaining high safety standards Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Certifications: First Aid Level 3, Basic Fire Fighting, Confined Space Entry.
