This is where we need you!

Every day we produce and package kilos of Mentos in our candy factory in Breda. As Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for managing a part of our Packaging Department. You ensure that work can be done safely, processes run smoothly, and the set KPIs are achieved. Perhaps even more importantly, you are closely involved with your team, you know what's going on, you have an eye for the well-being of your employees, and you offer the support they need to perform optimally.

Your core tasks in a nutshell:

• Managing 10–15 employees within your area;
• Achieving KPIs and advising the Area Manager;
• Organizing production according to plan and monitoring quality, hygiene, and safety;
• Reporting on daily activities and providing shift reports;
• Planning personnel staffing and guiding employees in their development;
• Conducting coaching, absence, and appraisal interviews;
• Stimulating improvement projects and participating in project groups;
• Ensuring a safe, neat, and food-safe working environment;
• Assessing quality and process technology issues;
• Contributing to the production line during peak loads.

That you are approachable, we perhaps don't need to tell you (but we'll do it for certainty anyway!). These are, in our opinion, the ideal ingredients to make this position a success:

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) work and thinking level, preferably a degree in Technical Business Administration
• Experience in a production environment
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Proactive attitude and results-oriented
• Knowledge of SAP, EZ-GO and quality standards such as FSSC, ISO, IFS and HACCP
