To support our cargo hall, we are looking to strengthen our management team:

Shift Supervisor* Cargo Warehouse 100%

Your tasks

• You are responsible for individual flights or trucks, assign tasks to employees, coordinate, prioritize, review, and jump in yourself if necessary
• You lead and motivate your team for the respective shift, foster and challenge employees, and are responsible for personnel management
• You support the Duty Officer in operational management and represent him in his absence
• You ensure that all regulations, provisions, laws, processes, and SOPs from authorities (Customs, BAZL), Zurich Airport, organizations (e.g., ISO, IATA), customers, and dnata are consistently adhered to and implemented according to the currently valid guidelines
• As a supervisor, you optimally coordinate the work in the hall together with the team leaders and the office area (acceptance, import, export) and contribute to a smooth daily routine
• You actively participate in the setup and further development of our new dnata Cargo Center (dCC)
• You contribute to the further development of processes, workflows, and structures and help us take our Cargo Operations to the next level
• You work closely with various interfaces and contribute to dnata appearing even more connected, efficient, and strong in the future

  - You will become part of one of the most exciting cargo projects at Zurich Airport: the new dnata Cargo Center (dCC), which is currently under construction and will be operational from 2027
  - With the new facility, we will increase our cargo capacity by around 50% and create one of the most modern cargo infrastructures at the location
  - You won't just be there – you will actively shape the development of new workflows, processes, and structures
  - Together, we will set new standards in cargo handling at Zurich Airport

Your backpack or suitcase - depending on your luggage

• You have a relevant vocational qualification and have already gained experience as a manager in similar roles
• You have good oral and written German skills; English skills are an advantage
• You are physically resilient, ready to take responsibility, and to be a role model for employees
• You possess the ability to remain calm and focused in hectic times
• You have basic PC skills
• You are willing to work irregular shifts between 04:30 and 24:00, including weekends and public holidays
• You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and actively shaping change
