Shift Production Supervisor - Bomporto, Italy

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• During his/her shift, he/she is the point of reference for production activities, including: personnel organization, safety, production quantity and quality, coordination with maintenance, sanitation, and logistics.
• He/She informs the production manager of the progress of production activities, identifying critical points and relevant aspects for the proper functioning of the departments.
• He/She ensures the correction of process parameters, informing the relevant personnel and the production manager.
• He/She supervises and coordinates activities during product changeovers.
• He/She verifies the correctness of production sheets completed by personnel and checked by machine operators.
• He/She is responsible for the application of the HACCP plan and compliance with GMP procedures.
• He/She takes care of the order and cleanliness of the department, in collaboration with the sanitation department, paying particular attention to the preparation for internal and external audits.

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

• He/She coordinates personnel (internal and external) and the activities of the various departments.
• He/She manages absences, rest days, leaves, and holidays of personnel, following the instructions of the production manager.
• He/She informs the RSPP (Health and Safety Officer), the plant manager, and the production manager of any accidents and near misses.

PRODUCT FORMULAS (recipes)

• He/She carries out daily verification and any necessary updates of operational formulas (recipes), based on the production schedule for the following days, in consultation with the production manager.
• He/She updates product formulas in the CEPI plant software.

RELATIONS WITH THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

• He/She reports any anomalies to maintenance supervisors and requests repair interventions for equipment and systems.

RELATIONS WITH THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT

• He/She must be in constant contact with sanitation personnel to intervene immediately in necessary cases.

RELATIONS WITH THE QUALITY DEPARTMENT

• He/She applies and enforces the provisions dictated by the quality manager.

RELATIONS WITH THE LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT

• He/She verifies with the machine operator that the shift has all the raw materials and packaging available to complete the planned products.
• He/She is responsible for the correct labeling of the finished product.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, or Biology, or related fields;
• At least 2 years of operational experience in the food sector or related fields;
• Experience in team management and organization.
• Good leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Knowledge of the English language (minimum B1 level).
• Intermediate-advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including, but not

limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel, and other products from the Office suite.

• Gross Annual Salary commensurate with the candidate's experience
• Working hours: Monday to Sunday with two days off during the week, in three shifts

The gross annual salary (RAL) provided for the role starts from €38,000

The final salary offered and the employment level will be determined based on experience, skills, and objective and gender-neutral criteria.
