Shift Manager - Feeds FMCG

Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join a reputable FMCG manufacturing company. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of production operators, ensuring smooth operations and achieving production targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of production on the shift
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
- Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Monitor production output and quality to meet customer requirements
- Manage and develop a team of production operators
- Schedule and allocate tasks to achieve production targets
- Collaborate with other departments to address any issues and improve processes
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and analyze production reports
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of production processes and quality standards
- Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in using computer software and production management systems
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required
- Qualification in Engineering or related field preferred
