Shift Engineer

Description Te Mahi / Key Responsibilities: Silver Fern Farms Pareora is on the lookout for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. Based in Timaru, our Pareora site is the second largest in our network, employing over 700 people at peak season. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your refrigeration expertise in a large-scale industrial environment, supporting critical site services and plant operations. You’ll be working a rotating 45-hour roster (morning, midday, evening shifts) with regular breaks to ensure you stay refreshed and focused throughout the day. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems, including monitoring and controlling temperature levels, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be working closely with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
