SHEQ Manager – Chemical Manufacturing – R850k – R750k

Hire Resolve's client in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their team in Gauteng. Responsibilities The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for managing the Company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management System (SHEQMS) (Including, but not limited to, ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, FSSC22000, AP Global Standards etc). Support Corporate Risk Management Programme: SHEQ Risks Ensure SHEQMS standards and systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. Develop and implement effective SHEQ strategies and initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices. Provide guidance and support to employees on SHEQ matters. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SHEQMS standards and identify areas for improvement. Identify and report potential SHEQ risks and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective SHEQ initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers and employees. Provide training and awareness programs on SHEQ matters to employees. Monitor and review SHEQ performance indicators and metrics. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices. Develop and implement corrective actions for non-compliance issues. Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and near misses. Identify and report potential SHEQ risks and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective SHEQ initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers and employees. Provide training and awareness programs on SHEQ matters to employees.
