Sewing Machinist - Shipley
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. We provide full, comprehensive relocation support to ensure your move is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

• Location: Shipley
• Salary: Up to Up to £26,500 per annum (£13ph)
• Role type: Permanent - RTW in the UK required
• Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8am – 6:15pm or Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 1pm

Duties:

• Produce protective covers for cars and caravans as an industrial sewing machinist.
• Work with heavy-duty and waterproof materials.
• Operate Flatbed/Walking Foot Machines, Lapping Machine, PLK Machine, Heat Sealer.
• Work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ recent experience sewing heavy fabrics on an industrial flatbed machine
• Experience with the following machines is desirable: Lapping Machine, PLK Machine, Heat Sealer.
• Industrial sewing experience
• Good communication skills
• Confidence to speak up and ask questions
• Hard-working, flexible, and proactive attitude
• Good English language skills, both written and verbal.
