Service Technician*in Medical Technology (m/f/d)

For the Business Unit MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, we are looking for a Service Technician*in in the field of medical technology. The position reports to the Head of After Sales of this business unit. The goal of the role is the technical support of the external technical personnel of the dealers as well as the end customers. Activities: • Carrying out on-site assignments to solve technical problems • Processing complaints (recording, analysis and collection of technical and functional improvement suggestions) • Close and continuous cooperation with internal departments (Research & Development, Marketing & Sales, Production, etc.) • Technical support during the installation of the products within the framework of national and international trade fairs and/or events • Technical advice to dealers and end customers, analysis of malfunctions and development of suitable solutions • Training of the technical personnel of the dealers in the installation and repair of the products • Assessment of the technical knowledge of the dealers with regard to the products • Creation, maintenance and updating of technical documentation (parts lists, technical manuals, spare parts catalogs, regular circulars, etc.) • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad Requirements: • Completed technical training and/or journeyman's certificate (e.g. electrician, mechatronics technician) • Professional experience in technical support for medical devices • Professional experience in companies in the same industry is an advantage • Good knowledge of English and German • Willingness to travel to Italy and abroad (approx. 40–50% per year) Interested persons of both sexes (Law No. 903/77) can submit their detailed curriculum vitae, enclosing the consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).
