For over ten years, ju:niz Energy has been developing and operating grid-serving large-scale battery storage systems. Our facilities stabilize the power grid and create the flexibility needed for an energy supply based on renewable energies. We invest in our projects ourselves and retain long-term ownership of the storage systems.

We are looking for you as a Service Technician (m/f/d) for our Operations Team. You will ensure that our facilities run safely and reliably. You can live anywhere in Germany: From your home, you will support our facilities throughout Germany. Depending on the assignment plan, multi-day tours with overnight stays are also included. Tasks that do not require on-site presence can be handled from home.

Your Tasks

• You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our large-scale battery storage systems and associated electrical auxiliary systems.
• If a fault occurs, you will systematically pinpoint the cause, resolve the error, and replace components if necessary – on-site or, where possible, via remote access.
• Using SCADA, EMS, and remote control systems, you will monitor and parameterize our facilities.
• During commissioning, functional tests, grid tests, and upgrades, you will contribute your technical experience and perform tests within your qualification.
• You will document your assignments, measurement results, and solutions comprehensibly. You will discuss recurring faults and potential improvements with the Operations Team to ensure our facilities run reliably in the long term.

Your Profile

• A completed apprenticeship in an electrical engineering field forms your foundation – for example, as an Electronics Technician for Plant Engineering, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, or Mechatronics Technician with electrical engineering experience.
• You already have practical experience in the maintenance or repair of electrical systems, industrial control systems, or energy facilities. Knowledge of battery storage systems is welcome, but not a prerequisite.
• You can confidently read circuit diagrams and technical documentation; you approach troubleshooting systematically.
• Experience with instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering (EMSR) technology, SCADA, EMS, or communication protocols such as Modbus and IEC 61850 is a plus.
• You work independently. You communicate confidently in German and possess a Class B driver's license.
• You will travel within Germany for assignments at our facilities. Multi-day tours with overnight stays are also fundamentally possible for you.
