Service Technician (Mechatronics Technician) for Woodworking Machines

The company Samstag Maschinentechnik GmbH is a family-owned business specializing in the trade of woodworking and plastic processing machines, as well as the provision of services.

We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician for Woodworking Machines for our location in Solingen (NRW) as soon as possible.

Tasks

Your tasks include:

The assembly, maintenance, repair of woodworking machines (e.g., edge banding machines, cutting saws, sanding machines, CNC machining centers) in-house and at our customers', including the installation and testing of hardware and software components, setting up and checking electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, laying supply lines, commissioning, including function and safety checks, as well as spare parts management.

Qualifications

You should bring the following:

• successfully completed training as a Mechatronics Technician m/f - ideally with several years of professional experience
• occasional willingness to travel for new machine installations and service work
• careful, independent, and results-oriented work
• basic electrical knowledge (ability to read circuit diagrams, etc.)
• good communication skills, confident and trustworthy demeanor, teamwork ability, and reliability
• willingness to acquire further knowledge
