ServiceNow - CMDB System Administrator This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field, and a minimum of 5 years in a similar position. Strong knowledge of CMDB modules is essential. Main Responsibilities: Manage CMDB health Review the existing configuration: attributes, flow, CIs, Groups, Teams, etc. Prepare the CMDB to enable effective ITSM implementation in ServiceNow Improve business processes and manage continuous improvement projects Propose automation whenever possible Manage Technical documentation Coordinate upgrades and changes to ServiceNow instance Manage permissions and access (roles, users, and groups) Maintain instance performance through regular checks Troubleshoot day-to-day operations and system issues Deploy update sets from non-production environments Set up automatic notifications and alerts Set up reports and schedule them Develop and manage a standard load template to import data Provide process training to business owners Key Requirements: Minimum 5 years in a similar role Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent Strong knowledge of CMDB modules Nice to Have: Knowledge of ITSM is a strong plus Other Details: This position may involve remote work and offers flexibility in managing the workload.
