Service Technician

As a service technician at Zonneplan, you are the technical all-rounder who truly helps customers. You travel independently throughout the Rotterdam region in your fully equipped service bus, resolve faults, and install new products such as charging stations and home batteries.

You work 40 hours per week and receive a salary between €2,900 and €3,850 per month, depending on your experience and skills.

• You resolve faults where others cannot. You analyze complex problems with solar energy installations, inverters, and cabling. With your systematic approach, you find the cause and resolve it in one visit, so the customer can generate energy worry-free again.
• You install the latest sustainable products. From charging stations to home batteries: you ensure everything is connected according to the NEN 1010 standard. You adapt fuse boxes, replace components, and deliver craftsmanship.
• You are the face of Zonneplan. You clearly explain what you are doing and why, answer questions, and provide advice on usage and maintenance.
• You keep your own bus and schedule in order. You manage your inventory, communicate with planners about progress, and identify areas for improvement.

• You have a completed MBO (vocational secondary education) degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable experience in installation technology.
• You have knowledge of the NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 standards and apply them in your daily work.
• You solve problems independently, think in solutions, and remain calm under pressure.
• You communicate clearly with customers, listen attentively, and explain technical matters understandably.
• You have a B driver's license.
