Make it possible

As a Service Technician Mechanical Engineering, you are responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical engineering installations. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and meets the highest quality standards.

Your main tasks:

• Independently carry out work on installations such as air handling systems, central heating systems, and WKO systems
• Detect faults and report them to the team
• Monitor the quality and quantity of execution
• Provide material supplies and keep logbooks
• Perform inspections and tests in accordance with regulations and procedures

Your team

You will work at BAM Bouw en Techniek Gebouwservices at Schiphol. We manage and maintain crucial areas such as Terminal 3, Schiphol Plaza, and fire stations. With over 200 colleagues, we realize challenging projects and distinguish ourselves in the areas of sustainability, cost optimization, and innovation. • A salary between €3,062 - €4,189 gross per 4 weeks, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour work week and excludes 8% holiday pay;
• Good secondary employment conditions according to the Technisch Installatiebedrijf cao (Collective Labour Agreement for the Technical Installation Industry), including 25 vacation days, 13 rostered days off per calendar year;
• Reimbursement of your travel expenses (100% public transport or a mileage allowance), laptop, and iPhone to perform your work. If you come by car, we have a permanent parking space for you at Schiphol, plus a Schiphol pass that allows you to use public transport throughout the Schiphol premises.

You recognize yourself in this

You have a proactive attitude, are service-oriented, and have an eye for quality and safety. You work meticulously and have perseverance.
Additionally:

• Completed technical MBO (vocational secondary education) level 3 program, for example, Installation Technology or Mechanical Engineering
• VCA-VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain it)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the installation industry
• Flexibility for day shifts and ad-hoc emergency calls
• Good command of the Dutch language
