The organization
This is where you will work

From the artisanal butcher to the industrial meat processor: this machine specialist supplies and maintains machines for processing and packaging food products. Think of installations for injecting, seasoning, cooking, mixing, and packaging.

The Dutch organization has been active since 1998 and operates independently within the Netherlands. You will join a compact team of eight employees, more than half of whom have been working here for over 20 years. Some colleagues have been there from the very beginning. This means you will be working with people who know the machines, customers, and each other well.

Due to growth and the impending retirement of colleagues, there is an opening for a new field service engineer. In addition to technical knowledge, how you fit into the team also counts. The atmosphere is down-to-earth, there is room for humor, and colleagues can rely on each other.

The role
This is what you will do

As a Field Service Engineer, you will depart from home to visit customers throughout the Netherlands. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot complex breakdowns, and install new machines. Your area of work includes both small businesses and large production environments within the food industry.

The technology is broad: you will work on mechanical and electrical components and will also deal with control technology. At the customer's site, you are the technical point of contact. You will investigate what is needed and ensure that the machine can operate reliably again.

Your tasks will include:

• Performing planned maintenance on machines and installations.
• Analyzing and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Investigating control system issues.
• Installing and commissioning new machines.
• Consulting with colleagues on technical issues and solutions.

The offer

• A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,500.
• 11 ATV days per year.
• A net expense allowance of €15 per day when you work more than four hours in the field.
• A service van or company car.

• A 13th month's salary for good performance and a positive company result.

What we expect from you
Do you recognize yourself?

You have experience within an industrial environment and possess demonstrable electrical knowledge. You work independently at customer sites and enjoy being part of a small team where everyone knows and helps each other.

• Several years of experience in manufacturing or process technology.
• Demonstrable electrical knowledge.
• Digital skills for working with business systems and equipment.
• A committed attitude and the intention to connect with the organization long-term.
• Team spirit and a good sense of humor.

A technical education at MBO level 3 or 4 is a strong pré.
