This organization specializes in the rental, maintenance, and service of aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and forklifts. From Rotterdam, they serve customers throughout the Netherlands, ranging from construction and industry to infrastructure.

Quality, speed, and service are central, and the services are continuously being expanded. Thanks to a recent acquisition, the workshop is fully in development. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and informal, with short communication lines and colleagues who always help each other. At the Almere location, you will work with two mechanics in the workshop. Due to growth, there is now a need for additional workshop mechanic support.

The Role
This is what you will do

As a Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and inspections of aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and forklifts. You will work partly in the workshop and partly on location at customer sites. You will be technically engaged, but also customer-oriented: you will communicate clearly about your work and contribute to sustainable solutions.

What you will do:

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machines
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, both mechanical and electrical
• Inspect machines according to applicable safety standards
• Install new machines at the customer's site
• Advise customers on usage, maintenance, and safety
• Keep a digital record of your work activities via tablet

You will work independently but can always count on support from colleagues at the office and in the workshop.

• Experience as a mechanic in mobile technology, agricultural mechanization, or internal transport
• MBO 3 or 4 work and thinking level, preferably technically educated
• Possession of a B driver's license
• Independent, solution-oriented, and customer-friendly
• Flexible deployable and willing to work both indoors and outdoors
• Familiar with digital work orders or willing to learn quickly
