The NIESENBAHN AG operates a funicular railway and a mountain hut in the summer season operation. The mountain hut offers 140 indoor and 160 outdoor seating places, an overnight stay option of 22 guest beds and an integrated kiosk. The restaurant is open seven days a week. On three to five days per week, special evening events and banquets with up to 140 guests are held. These occasions range from Raclette to a 5-course menu. Twice a month, a 5-course full moon dinner is offered. The mountain hut also offers a variety of activities such as hiking trails, a playground for children, and a picnic area. In the evening, there is a cozy atmosphere with campfires and live music. The restaurant serves a wide range of dishes from traditional to international cuisine. The NIESENBAHN AG attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental protection. Therefore, all food waste is composted and recycled. The company also supports local farmers and suppliers. The mountain hut has a team of 10-15 employees who work together to ensure the smooth operation of the business. The working hours are flexible and can be adjusted according to individual needs.
