Service Technician

Service Technician- Lawson Sales. Location: Portage La Prairie, MB. Reports To: Service Manager. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Job Summary: Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural, construction, and landscaping equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various types of equipment. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications. * Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems. * Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues. * Complete work orders accurately and efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers. * Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. * Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry advancements. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Completion of a relevant technical training program or apprenticeship. * Proven experience as a Service Technician, preferably with agricultural, construction, or landscaping equipment. * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. * Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Valid driver's license. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
