About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our team in Christchurch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is properly maintained and repaired, and providing technical support as required. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment • Providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used • Collaborating with other team members to achieve business objectives • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and efficiency. Requirements • 2+ years of experience in a similar role • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces • Valid driver’s license • Ability to lift up to 25kg • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
