Service Engineer

• Conducts periodic inspections and determines the technical condition of equipment.

• Identifies sources of defects through visual, auditory or specialized equipment diagnosis.

• Uses measurement and testing instruments.

• Performs mechanical, hydraulic, electrical repairs on construction equipment.

• Realizes preventive maintenance work according to the maintenance plan.

• Participates in general reviews and capital repairs of equipment.

• Assembles and disassembles mechanical and hydraulic sub-assemblies.

• Tests equipment after repairs to confirm proper functioning.

• Reads and interprets mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.

• Completes service records and intervention reports.

• Identifies replacement parts needed and prepares the necessary parts and consumables list.

• Collaborates with procurement department for ordering parts.

• Respects SSM norms and ISCIR procedures applicable to equipment.

• Reports any defects or technical incidents that may affect safety to superiors.

• Maintains order and cleanliness in the work area.

• Collaborates with equipment operators for diagnosis and testing.

• Participates in technical training for professional knowledge updates.

• Ensures technical support and reports periodically on equipment condition.

• Availability to perform, upon employer's request, occasional travel or detachment, with an average duration of approximately 5 (five) days, to other locations, if necessary, in order to carry out inspection and repair activities for equipment, within a maximum of 0-2 trips per year, the employer ensuring transportation, accommodation, and daily allowance according to applicable legislation.
