The organization
This is where you will work

You will be working for an international Swiss family business that has specialized in installations for processing powders and granules for over 130 years. The systems are fully custom-developed for clients within, among others, the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

From the Dutch branch in the Amersfoort region, projects in the Benelux and Germany are managed. You will work with technically high-quality installations where mechanics, electrical engineering, and control technology come together.

The organization is professional, but the lines of communication are short. You will have a lot of autonomy and will be involved in the complete process: from the initial technical customer request to installation, service, and long-term maintenance.

The role
This is what you will do

As a Service Engineer, you have a broad technical role combining project management and hands-on engineering. You will work from the office and workshop, but will also regularly be at customer locations.

Your tasks include:

• Assessing customer requests and technically elaborating solutions
• Preparing quotations and purchasing necessary materials
• Implementing customer-specific technical modifications
• Installing, testing, and commissioning process installations
• Performing preventive maintenance and resolving faults
• Working with mechanical, electrical, and control engineering systems
• Advising and guiding customers during and after the project

The majority of your work will take place in the Benelux and Germany. Occasionally, a project may take you further into Europe.

What we expect from you
Do you recognize yourself?

You are technically broad, can work independently, and enjoy combining technology with project management and customer contact.

This is what you bring:

• A completed MBO 4 or HBO education in a technical field
• At least 4 years of experience in machine building, process technology, or similar
• A strong electrical engineering foundation and good mechanical knowledge
• Experience with fault analysis and independently solving technical problems
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Driving license B and willingness to travel to customers regularly
