We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer. We target someone with knowledge, common sense and the right mindset to work independently and in a team.

• Remuneration around 21 per hour, depending on experience and technical background

As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining, repairing and ensuring the good functioning of industrial compressors and related installations at customers across Belgium.

In this role, you play a crucial part in ensuring that processes in sectors such as process industry, chemistry, biochemistry, water technology and maritime applications continue to function reliably.

Your task package:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial installations
• Mechanical and electromechanical interventions
• Analyzing and solving problems
• Replacing and adjusting components
• Installing equipment
• Clear and correct reporting of the work performed

You will work across Belgium. Depending on your weekly schedule, you may pick up parts at the depot one or two times a week and then head to the customer from home. Sometimes you go directly to the location, sometimes via the depot; flexibility is essential.

You usually only work on the road. The training takes place internally, in pairs.

We are not looking for a starter or title, but experience, maturity and reliability.

• Strong technical background in mechanics and/or electromechanics
• Experience with industrial installations or compressors is a significant plus
• Understanding of components, materials and machine operation
• You can work independently and take responsibility
• Solution-oriented thinking and correct handling of problems
• Flexible mindset, willing to sometimes work longer to complete an intervention correctly
• Team-oriented, even when you often work alone
• A stable career path is important
• A bachelor's degree is not a requirement. Practical experience takes precedence.
