Service Engineer Hungary/Baltics (1-year fixed term contract) m/f/d

Join our dynamic team as a Service Engineer, where your technical expertise will shine in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) systems. Primarily focusing on the Hungarian market, with occasional support for the Baltic region, you will ensure top-notch service delivery and optimal system performance.

• Supervise on-site installation, commissioning, and inspection of PV systems.
• Conduct technical work related to installation, connection, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and technical assistance to customers and partners.
• Manage service tickets, warranty cases, and RMA processes efficiently.
• Support fault analysis, data review, and root-cause investigations.
• Coordinate spare parts shipments and monitor repair progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and performance issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and testing of solar systems.
• Collaborate with EPCs, installers, and technical support teams for project success.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports of service interventions.
• Train local installers on product handling and safety compliance.
• Travel to project sites as required.

We seek candidates with a degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy, and 2-3 years of experience in the solar PV sector. Fluency in Hungarian and English is essential, and additional language skills are a plus. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently are required.
