Service Engineer - Germany (DACH Region)
Department: Global Service Center
Work Location: Germany (covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Employment type: Full-time
Reporting to: Service Manager Germany
Our partner is a rapidly growing international manufacturing company expanding its service network across Europe. To support the increasing installed base in the DACH region, we are looking for a skilled Service Engineer based in Germany, responsible for field service activities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The role focuses on after-sales technical support, fault diagnosis, and on-site service for aerial work platforms, offering long-term career development in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide after-sales technical support to customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

Handle equipment failure reports in line with company procedures

Participate in 24/7 on-call duty and respond to emergency service requests

Diagnose and repair aerial work platforms (telescopic booms, articulated booms, scissor lifts, telehandlers)

Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical control systems independently

Perform CAN-bus diagnostics using professional diagnostic tools

Report recurring faults and customer feedback to the Service Manager

Support service quality improvement and standardization initiatives

Maintain service vehicles, tools, and diagnostic equipment

Deliver basic maintenance and safe operation training to customers

Support training of newly hired service engineers

Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hydraulics, Mechatronics, or related fields

Experience in after-sales service of construction machinery or similar equipment

Strong advantage: hydraulic, electrical, and CAN-bus diagnostic experience

Proficient with diagnostic tools, multimeters, pressure gauges, and service software

Basic German language skills (spoken and written)

Willingness to travel frequently and work in a 24/7 on-call model
