Job description
Career Opportunity for Service Engineer for Fiscal Equipment (Diebold-Nixdorf).
Responsibilities:
- Pickup of allocated service sessions;
- Installation of equipment/solutions;
- Analysis, diagnosis, and repair of equipment/solution problems;
- Restarting equipment/solutions in operation;
- Recording service sessions in the ticket system;
- Closing tickets in the electronic incident management system.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of hardware/equipment IT;
- Experience in POS equipment, barcode scanners, terminals, wireless, and verification devices;
- Experience with specific applications for diagnosing different hardware components (HDD, COM, CPU);
- Software knowledge - installing and configuring Windows operating systems; Linux is an advantage;
- Network knowledge - setting up and configuring;
- Aptitude for mechanical equipment service (printers);
- PC knowledge;
- Driving license category B.
Advantage:
- Knowledge of English language;
- Experience in the fiscal domain - presents an advantage.
