Service Engineer
Job description
As a service engineer at our client, you will be responsible for the preventive and curative maintenance of advanced internal transport systems at various companies in the Antwerp-Mechelen region. With your technical knowledge, you will quickly diagnose faults via error codes and solve problems independently or together with colleagues. Your tasks include:
- Resolving electrical and electronic faults (converters, motors, cables, modules, controllers, etc.)
- Repairing mechanical defects such as wear of bearings and wheels
- Addressing hydraulic and thermal faults
- Guiding and advising customers towards structural solutions
- Collaborating with a dedicated team of technicians, especially within your own, fixed region
Profile
The ideal candidate for this job will recognize themselves in the profile below:
- Technical diploma, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanics, maintenance techniques, or electromechanics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a role as maintenance technician, service engineer, or service technician
- Extensive knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, and hydraulics
- Knowledge of thermal techniques is a plus
- You work result-oriented, independently, and always think along with the customer
