Service Engineer (Commissioning/Mechanical/Marine/Vessel)

Responsibilities: Lead and execute commissioning activities for mechanical systems on marine vessels. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful commissioning of vessels. Conduct inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance with specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues during commissioning. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Document commissioning procedures, results, and recommendations. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution of commissioning activities. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Identify and report potential risks and opportunities for improvement. Provide input on project scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations. Provide technical expertise and support to resolve issues and improve processes. Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
