Field Service Engineer - Mechanical
(Based in Singapore)
ORGANISATION:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of capital equipment onsite at shipyards or onboard ships and company workshop.
- Serve as a customer-facing technical resource, collaborating effectively with clients and internal technicians to address and resolve technical and operational issues related to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.
- Create and maintain installation data, service information, and repair log in the company enterprise database.
- Make sure that the company workshop is well maintained, the tools and equipment’s are clean and easily available to use.
Requirements
- An engineering degree or diploma in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical or marine engineering.
- You have over 3 years of technical(field) experience in repairs, maintenance, and commissioning work in marine or shipping or offshore industry.
- You have strong experience in mechanical engineering in your previous roles.
- You are a keen learner and are able to analyse complex situations.
- You are open to travel more than 60% internationally to fix the customers issues.
