Service Desk Specialist - Onsite in Cologne (m/w/d)

We are looking for you as a team member of our Service Desk department at our location Cologne. Become part of the thinkGROUP and support us as a Service Desk Specialist (m/w/d)

Tasks

Your tasks:

• Supporting customers telephonically and via remote maintenance in the context of 1st level IT support with focus on MS-Office, MS-Teams, MS Windows, cloud-based applications, MyPBx, permissions, clients (notebook, FAT/thin-clients), printers, TK, media technology
• Detailed recording of disturbances and service requests in the area of hardware and software as well as documentation of these in the ticket system (SAP ITSM)
• Further processing of support tickets
• Analysis of more complex issues and forwarding to 2nd level IT support
• Informing users about the progress of their support request and ensuring compliance with SLAs through regular tracking
• Suggestions for improving service quality and continuous development of processes
• Maintenance of asset management system as well as creation of knowledge base articles

Qualification

Your profile:

• Successful completion of IT training in the field, e.g. as a systems integration specialist or equivalent training
• Ideal experience in IT service desk/user helpdesk, but also welcome are lateral entrants and work students
• Very good knowledge in the areas of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office components
• Good English skills
• Desirable but not required: Apple iOS, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Innovaphone PBX, SAP IDM, OPSI, RSA Token Management, Macmon, virtual machines, TeamViewer, media technology
• Process- and service-oriented approach
• Communication strength as well as solution- and customer-oriented thinking
• Organized and self-reliant working style as well as high motivation
