Service Desk Analyst

Service Desk Analyst opportunity until the end of December, based in Wellington. $28 per hour, Wellington CBD. Tō tūranga hou | Your new role As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for internal users, providing Level 1–1.5 support across a hybrid Microsoft environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring staff receive responsive and effective technical support, helping to resolve issues and maintain a positive end-user experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and resolving service desk tickets via phone, email, and remote support tools
• Providing support for Microsoft 365 applications, Windows devices, and user accounts
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues
• Supporting Active Directory user administration, password resets, and account provisioning
• Escalating more complex incidents to senior support teams when required
• Contributing to knowledge base documentation and continuous service improvement

• Previous experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, or Desktop Support role
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft technologies and end-user devices
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
• Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and ticketing systems
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple support requests
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technical skills
