Service and Repair Technician
Job description
CTS Trailers is looking for an energetic, hardworking person to be part of our Services and Repairs Team situated in Bellville Stikland, Industrial. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the preventative maintenance and repairs of truck and trailer bodies and is willing to work overtime, shifts and weekends. Key task and responsibilities: · Preventative maintenance and repairs of trailer bodies. · Trailer Chassis repairs. · Welding / fabrication. · Steel repairs on tipper chassis, bins and other equipment. · Repair and maintenance of various mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and cylinders. · Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in mechanical systems. · Performing routine inspections and reporting any defects or damage to management. · Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used. · Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
